The book proposes a two-state solution that will require Arab countries and Israel to redraw their borders to let a Palestinian state take shape with Jerusalem as its capital.
Historical Palestine included the territory that Israel, Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon, southern Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt occupy today.

The idea that Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank relocate to a new homeland has merit. However, rather than moving to Jordan, Egypt, South Sudan, or other countries in Africa, it could be a newly created state in what has always been part of the Territorial Province of Palestine.

It is well known that the borders of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan, Syria and Israel, were established by the British and French for their own political and economic interests. Therefore, there is no reason these borders cannot be redrawn to accommodate a Palestinian state.

What is essential now is for Palestinians worldwide to unite and advocate for the establishment and global recognition of a Palestinian state that is independent of Hamas and the Palestinian Authority. The proposed Palestinian state deserves serious consideration as it presents the best opportunity to create a viable modern nation that can peacefully coexist with Israel.
