Iran’s New Makeup — Women Redux

Iranian Women are shedding their hajibs and wearing prohibited Western attire and makeup – as they take to the streets protesting, demanding social freedom and political change, trying to re-makeup a new political non-theocratic Iran. They are not alone. Men and teenagers aged 13-14-years old are there with their mothers, getting killed, jailed, raped, and beaten.

The Ayatollahs and their Revolutionary Guards are not only depriving the Iranian people of what is justly theirs by gaming and corrupting the religious political system to their advantage at the expense of the people – which is what the protests are all about until they became political – they are also denying the long-sought peace Israel and its Arab neighbors have been searching for decades. Their support of Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, the Houthis in Yemen, not to mention the Shia militias in Iraq that killed Americans — and most visibly and brutally in Syria — making sure President Bashar Assad remains in power — is the primary cause of these ongoing conflicts that are preventing peace in the Middle East – and depriving protesting Iranians of what justly belongs to them.

Iran’s Theocratic leaders, Revolutionary Guards, and drones, are supporting Russia in its illegal invasion and war on-and-in Ukraine.

To make matters worse, Iran is continually expanding the range of its nuclear-capable missiles and atomic weapons.

I discuss at length the history of U.S.-Iran relations and the benefits of a rapprochement – and in fact encourage it in my 2007 book Custom Maid Knowledge for New World Disorder and point out that:

“Islam came late to Persia, a land which boasted a rich and
full civilization long before the Arab invaders swept from the
West. While most younger Iranians do admire Islam’s sense
of discipline, art and architecture, they have little interest in
its rigid dogma and social intolerance.

There is a civil uprising well under way behind closed doors
and under chadors (head-to-toe robes). Iran’s teenagers are
rebelling in the best traditions of We the Apathetic Maids –
by embracing sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll – even with the threat
of persecution and whipping.”

Nothing has really changed since then, except the teenagers have come of age, and like their contemporaries in America and the rest of the world, want an end to political corruption and a fair share of the economic benefits enjoyed exclusively by the establishment elite — the Ayatollahs and their Revolutionary Guards Corps. Iranians, of all ages, 14-year olds being shot and killed, raped, beaten, incarcerated in adult prisons, treated no different than university students, grandmothers and fathers, all getting clobbered by security forces just for wanting their fair share of the economic pita. Iranian officials have said the average age of protesters is 15!

No different than people in America, China and the rest of the world – except for the average age.

“Death to America” is a common slogan of the Ayatollah’s supporters whenever they take to social media or the streets of Teheran to protest anything America or its president say or do that they don’t like. Now that they are taking to the streets chanting “Death to the Ayatollahs and their political theocracy” it is the right time for America and its allies to help Iran achieve regime change.

I pray to Adonai, Allah, Buddha, and God, that Iranian women and men of all ages, and all 13-31-year old students — the Iranian people, succeed in their protests and prayers.
Amen!

  1. Dear Peter,
Thanks so much for sharing with me your grand, powerful and timely Commentary on exploding-imploding Iran, these days. Ironically, yet properly timed during Hanukkah! Remembering the appropriate symbolism of the Maccabees successful fight & victory for Freedom & Justice against the cruel Greek coquerers…
