Recovering from the Thanksgiving dinner I co-hosted in Hong Kong for 30 people, I started to think and plan my trip back to America in a week. I woke up to the news stories of “mayhem” on Black Friday in America – and worldwide – physical and political.
At least 305 Muslim worshippers killed and more than 100 wounded in Egypt by Islamic extremists;
Hundreds of thousands of Rohingya Muslims being killed, raped, brutalized and forcibly removed from their homes in Buddhist Myanmar, a subject I wrote at length about in Custom Maid Revolution for New World Disorder in 2012;
Sunni Muslims bombing Shia Muslims in Yemen;
Refugees from Africa being sold into slavery in Libya;
American forces fighting Islamic extremists in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Philippines, Syria, across Africa and many other countries; and
Back in America
American politicians, media executives, hosts and stars being exposed for their settlements of sexual misconduct with taxpayer and shareholder dollars, another subject I wrote about in Custom Maid Revolution for New World Disorder.
The realization that I was heading to a scandalous political sex-swamp of undisclosed indiscretions across both democratic and republican party lines, with echoes of the internal political implosions and divides within each party ringing in my ears – magnified by the biased mainstream media – all at the expense of taxpayers, lamely watching the political demolition derby as it obliterates their own comfortable middle-class lifestyle, made me cringe.
A $17 million hush fund for congressional indiscretions while debating tax reform, defense spending, repeal and replace Obamacare, the Wall, DACA and how they can all be inserted into the legislation to prevent a government shutdown – or not!
I am glad to be an American heading to the U.S. tomorrow, a country where people can exercise their First Amendment Constitutional right of free speech, no matter who or how many people may be offended. Including the President and every other elected official.
Yesterday’s political, moral and cultural rules and games of denial have no relevance and no longer apply to the politics or realities of today or tomorrow in our wired world.
America is in the forefront of the political firestorm of getting back to the future as envisioned by America’s Founding Fathers – The Original Magnificent 7!
