An Ugly Preview of 2020 Presidential Election

Watching President Trump and former Vice President Biden exchange political insults as they crisscrossed Iowa on Tuesday, was an ugly preview of the 2020 presidential election. Trump, not having any challengers to the Republican nomination, zeroed in the entire day and night with his killer nicknames on Biden, who has 22 Democrats vying for their party nomination.

Calling Biden “a loser,” “a sleepy guy” with “the weakest mentality,” that “people don’t respect.”

Biden accused Trump of being “an existential threat,” whose words and actions are antithetical to America’s “core values — what we stand for, who we are, what we believe in.”

Biden went on to use Trump’s own words as evidence of why Democrats should “clearly and firmly reject” Trump.

“I have absolute power.’ No, you don’t, Donald Trump! ‘Only I can fix it’ Fix yourself first, Donald Trump,” Biden bellowed.

Biden went on to attack Trump’s 2016 campaign slogan saying: “You talk about the fact that let’s ‘Make America Great Again.’ I’d just settle for just let America be America again.”

Trump repeatedly accused Biden of being “weak mentally” and that “when a man has to mention my name 76 times in his speech, that means he’s in trouble.”

Looking at the latest Iowa polls, Biden is slipping and there is a high probability he won’t be the Democratic Party nominee because of Trump’s killer monikers and the fact that he has a lot of baggage that his Democratic opponents for the party’s nomination will bring up in the upcoming debates.

Stay tuned for the first debate between 20 of the 23 candidates in the Democratic presidential primary that will take place June 26 and 27 in Miami. The second debate is set for July 30 and 31 in Detroit, with the third debate taking place September 12 and 13. They promise to be just as exciting as the NBA Championship playoffs!
