I was in Turkey last weekend when a 5.7 earthquake struck near its border with Iran, killing at least nine people, three of them children.
The earthquake was not as news worthy as the earth shattering Russian and Syrian bombing at Turkey’s border with Syria, killing innocent Syrian civilians and Turkish soldiers.
Hundreds, possibly thousands of innocent civilians, are being bombed to death by Assad and Putin in Idlib province in Syria, as another million Syrian refugees are threatening to join the more than three million already living in refugee camps in Turkey.
If Slobodan Milosovic, Radko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic of Serbia, Charles Taylor of Liberia and Omar Al Bashir of Sudan can be tried for war crimes for killing and displacing fewer innocent citizens than Assad and Putin, surely this criminal duo must be brought to justice someday?
